Turn1 Racing
Turn1 Racing are based in Malvern Worcestershire, we used to be known as Moto-UK racing. In association with Malvern Plastics we want to promote and encourage young british riders.
Founder member Rob Shuker is an ex road racer who began his association with encouraging young talent in 1996 by supporting South African Champion Fernando Mendez in the 250 British Championship.
With the demise of 250 racing at the end of 2001, Moto UK turned their attention to 125s and along with Nick Carpenter purchased a bike for Christian Elkin. A very succesful season followed with 4 wins, 4 poles, a lap record at Rockingham and a wild card at the British GP. The team finished in an amazing second place in the 125 British Championship. With the continued support of Moto UK racing, Christian went on to win 2 more British Championship titles and race in the Spanish Championship
